We're thrilled to invite you to participate in an electrifying basketball tournament that promises adrenaline-pumping action, fierce competition, and unforgettable memories.

This year we will be hosting our 1st Annual Tournament for 7th & 8th grade boys.

Basketball Game

Games

Games will be played in a tournament style. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three games. Once the tournament rounds begin, games will be single elimination.

All games will be played according to PIAA rules with 12 minute halves.

Weekend Pass:

  • Adult - $20.00

  • Student/Senior - $15.00

Day Pass:

  • Adult - $12.00

  • Student/Senior - $8.00

Awards

Awards will be given to out to the tournament winner at the end of the championship game.

 

The winning team will receive a trophy and medals will be awarded to each individual player.

Tournament Rules and Regulations

Team Rules

 

  • All players shall play for only one team.

  • All teams must wear basketball jerseys during their games. Each jersey must have the same color and they must have numbers.

  • Basketball shoes must be worn on the court.

  • All jewelry must be removed. Necklaces, earrings, and watches cannot be worn during the game.

  • The team coaches are entirely responsible for making sure that their players fully understand tournament rules and regulations.

  • Each participating team must always have an adult coach on the bench.

​Game-time Rules

​

  • All games will be played according to PIAA rules.

  • Teams will play two 12 minute halves. Halftime will be 3 minutes long.

  • Teams will get 4 minutes to warm up prior to their games.

  • Lane entry on free throws is allowed after the release.

  • A 10-second backcourt rule will be used.

  • The 5-second closely guarded rule will be in effect.

  • Each team will be given 3 (45-second) timeouts per game. There is no carryover in overtime.

  • Each team is allowed 1 timeout per overtime session.

  • In the case of overtime, 2 additional minutes will be added to the clock.

  • The regulation foul line will be utilized.  

  • The three-point line will be in effect.

  • Team Fouls: Double Bonus shots will be given after the 10th team foul, per half. There will be no 1 and 1.

  • Each player will be given 5 personal fouls.

  • There will be a 20-point mercy rule in the second half. At that point the clock will become continuous. If the lead is cut to 19 points, the clock will stop again.

  • Full-court press will be allowed, however, there will be no pressing if a team is 20 points ahead.
