Our Program

AAU Program

Currently, the Rising Stars AAU Program consist of both girls and boys teams ranging from 5th grade through high school. These teams are closed for the current season, but spots become available for next year. If you are interested in joining our program, keep in mind that tryouts are typically held in late Fall, following the current AAU Season. 

 

Tryouts will expose participants to all phases of the game, including the fun and enjoyment of competing athletically. They will focus on skill work, basketball knowledge, defense, and teamwork. The tryout fee is $25 and forms will be available for download come closer to Fall. If you have question in the meantime about joining our program, please contact Coach Rogers or Coach Deas.

AAU Progam

Camps and Clinics

The Rising Stars AAU Basketball Program provides guidance and life skills for today's youth both on and off the basketball court. Camps and clinics will be run throughout the Summer with a focus on various aspects of the game depending on the type of camp or clinic you sign up for. For example, shooting clinics will focus on building sound shooting techniques, improving footwork, midrange and long-range shooting, and more, while guard clinics will focus on guard skills, enhancing court awareness and basketball iQ, reading defenses, and other important areas that will help you stand out on the court. 

In addition, the coaches can also run camps for Junior High and High School teams if interested.

Camps

Individual and Group Workouts

Our coaches understand that having individual workout sessions can be extremely beneficial to a player's growth. It has proven effective time and time again as it allows the Coach to focus solely on that individual without distraction. Coach Rogers does offer one-on-one sessions throughout the year pending scheduling availability.

 

Additionally, small group workouts are also available. These workout sessions range anywhere from 2-6 players per session.
